Engineering Manager Foundation Installation

We are seeking an experienced Foundation Installation Engineering Manager to lead our team in providing technical expertise in offshore wind foundation installation. You will be responsible for assessing installation feasibility, vessel selection, and risk management strategies, ensuring that tenders are backed by the best possible engineering solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in wind foundation installation to ensure feasibility and best practices in project tenders.
- Assess and recommend the most effective foundation installation methods based on vessel capabilities, site conditions, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, sales, and project development teams to ensure alignment between technical feasibility and commercial strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of heavy lift vessel capabilities and installation limitations, actively contributing to expanding technical capabilities.
- Develop and implement installation risk assessments and solutions to potential challenges.
- Review and validate tender specifications, schedules, and requirements, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as the primary technical expert for foundation installation in discussions with project teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead methodology reviews and installation feasibility assessments for new projects.
- Support the development of standardised foundation installation guidelines, templates, and best practices.
- Participate in offshore project execution, engineering, or installation feasibility assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Marine, or a related field).
- At least 5 years of experience in offshore wind foundation installation or a similar field.
- Deep technological knowledge of foundation installation methods, heavy lift operations, and vessel capabilities.
- Experience in offshore project execution, engineering, or installation feasibility assessments.
- Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills related to installation challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing) with experience working with international teams.
