Barista Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Starbucks Amsterdam CS. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee products for our customers while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our store.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of coffee products, including ingredients, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive starting salary from €13.68 according to the Collective Labor Agreement for the Hotel and Catering Industry.
  • 8% holiday allowance, travel allowance (if you live more than 10km from the store), and pension accrual.
  • Fixed contract hours with the prospect of a permanent contract, flexible working hours that can be easily combined with a possible study.
  • Discount of up to 60%.

Requirements:

  • An enthusiastic and customer-friendly attitude, with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate a variety of shifts.
  • A good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity.
