About the Role

Teneo is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Senior Consultant to join our Amsterdam office. As a core member of our account teams, you will be responsible for managing client accounts and executing holistic, integrated programs and communications initiatives in support of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on client accounts and support client work in the Amsterdam and global offices
  • Prepare client-ready written content, strategic plans, press releases, talking points, Q&As, briefing memos, and distributed media materials
  • Manage messages and coordinate client activities
  • Serve as a reliable, adaptable resource for senior team members capable of overseeing others
  • Contribute to the Business Development process, including proposal development and pitch participation
  • Support operational requirements in the office, including Teneo marketing events and business development activities

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media, or investor relations
  • Strong track record of managing client relationships
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to see complex projects through to execution
  • Knowledge of the media landscape and demonstrated track record of engaging with journalists
  • Experience with financial communications and calendar work, including special situations such as M&A and activism
  • Experience with issues and crisis management, or complex and/or sensitive mandates
  • Demonstrated understanding of business and capital markets
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Ability to navigate complex or ambiguous environments
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms and media monitoring tools
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
