Front End Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Business Intelligence Developer to join our Enterprise Information Management team at Thales in the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing innovative dashboards in Power BI to drive business results and customer value.
About the TeamOur team operates independently and is responsible for all BI and data-related aspects. We work closely with stakeholders to understand their use cases and functional requirements, and we strive to deliver relevant information by knowing how to make the difference between what the customer says they want versus what is needed.
About the JobAs the Front End Business Intelligence Developer for the Enterprise Information Management team, your working environment will be between several business and group stakeholders and your team. You will work together to create, maintain, improve, and deliver different kinds of BI dashboard products. You will be a proactive Business Intelligence professional who understands the changing demands of the business and knows how to translate these demands into effective products/dashboards.
Key Responsibilities- Design, create, and manage creative and innovative dashboards in Power BI.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their use cases and functional requirements.
- Pursue optimal performance and availability through continuous improvement in dashboards.
- Strive to deliver relevant information by knowing how to make the difference between what the customer says they want versus what is needed.
- Ensure the maintainability and manageability of the products (to be) delivered.
We are looking for a colleague who has a bachelor or master degree, at least 2 years of working experience within a complex organization, experience with agile working, certification is a plus, experience with BI reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI, an eye and ear for developments in the organization and the role of data/intelligence therein, analytically strong and result-oriented, excellent communication skills and organizational sensitivity, enthusiastic, driven, and the power of persuasion and know how to use this in your communication with stakeholders.
