Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Feedstock Trader to join our team at Braskem. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring feedstock for our industrial plants, ensuring a competitive feedstock book and mitigating price risk exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, including NOCs, IOCs, Trading Companies, and Brokers, to secure competitive feedstock prices and quantities.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive pricing to ensure optimal feedstock procurement.
- Purchase and sale negotiations with counterparties for spot and term contracts.
- Monitor trading flows and develop market analysis to inform procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with all procedures and legislations covering Braskem feedstock business.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical market, trade flows, and arbitrages.
- Excellent trading and commercial skills, with a focus on risk management and exposure.
- Understanding of maritime logistics and feedstock quality and yields.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in feedstock trading and procurement.
- Knowledge of derivatives and hedging strategies.
- Fluency in English.
