Job Summary

The Senior Solution Manager will utilize technical skills to research and develop customer solutions, create go-to-market plans, manage product development with cross-functional teams, and develop product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business development and solution offerings.
  • Grow, expand, and accelerate business growth, driving Supermicro's vision and goals.
  • Engage in pre-sales and post-sales activities to build customer confidence and trust.
  • Position Supermicro solutions and enable coverage to new and existing customers.
  • Define, track, and report on key business metrics and market responses.
  • Drive sales and customer engagement to new areas and territories.
  • Influence sales and customers to make informed decisions, provide guidance, and execute projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to represent the company at the highest level.
  • Influence and guide various teams to achieve business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct experience in computing hardware and solutions, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability.
  • 5+ years in solution development, marketing, and business strategy for total solutions and deployment.
  • Proven quantitative, analytical, customer-facing, and technical skills.
  • Self-starter with high motivation to excel and succeed.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in oral and written English.
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
  • BSEE/CS or equivalent, with MSEE desirable.
