About the Role

The Distribution Resource Planner will be responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted supply process by balancing supply, inventory, and demand. This role will involve developing and maintaining the 6-month rolling supply plan for imported products, understanding and executing key analytics in line with supply processes to achieve optimal demand and supply balance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and inventory management, preferably in the process industry, and strong analytical skills in combination with advanced Excel, SAP, and Advanced Planning Software. A Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering is required, and APICS CPIM or comparable certification is a plus.

The Distribution Resource Planner will work closely with the global supply chain team and report to the Supply Chain Manager. This role requires the ability to think strategically and execute methodically, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the 6-month rolling supply plan for imported products
  • Understand and execute key analytics in line with supply processes to achieve optimal demand and supply balance
  • Support the Supply Manager in developing the 24-month supply plan and participate in the S&OP process
  • Lead S&OE meetings and communicate summary to stakeholders
  • Manage warehouse inventory planning of external warehouses, manage inventory levels and replenishment orders in line with agreed inventory targets
  • Manage aged and blocked inventories, and work with manufacturing and product management to minimize impact to the business
  • Initiate and lead assigned annual physical stock counts
Requirements
  • Experience in planning and inventory management, preferably in the process industry
  • Strong analytical skills in combination with advanced Excel, SAP, and Advanced Planning Software
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering
  • APICS CPIM or comparable certification is a plus
