Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Operations Manager to join our team at Mitsubishi Chemical Europe. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that we deliver high-quality products to our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
- Manage and coordinate the activities of production teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, materials, and overheads
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
- Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and research and development, to drive business growth and innovation
- University degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of success in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the plastics or chemical industry
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders
