Solution Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team as a Solution Architect. As a key member of our architecture team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions across multiple internal and external IT systems. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to analyze and document application architectures, ensuring technical quality and adherence to architecture governance processes.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in Cloud Technology, Containerization, and (open source) Software Development. They will also have proven experience in the CNCF API management landscape and a background in solution technologies such as Spring Boot/Quarkus, Kafka, CI/CD, Open Source, and establishing standards. Additionally, they will have demonstrable experience working within Agile teams and fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement end-to-end solutions across multiple internal and external IT systems
- Analyze and document application architectures, ensuring technical quality and adherence to architecture governance processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Participate in technical design processes, working closely with clients and other key stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of Cloud Technology, Containerization, and (open source) Software Development
- Proven experience in CNCF API management landscape and background in solution technologies such as Spring Boot/Quarkus, Kafka, CI/CD, Open Source, and establishing standards
- Demonstrable experience working within Agile teams
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
