You will be part of the Land Affairs division within the Expertise, Business Operations, and Stations department. As one of thirteen legal consultants in the front office, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in your branch and across the Land Affairs division. You will discuss contracts with your mid-office peers and can rely on the back office for asset reports or overviews. Position OverviewAs a legal consultant for land affairs at Enexis, you play a crucial role in ensuring a dependable energy network in the regions of Overijssel, Drenthe, and Groningen, both now and for the future. This position significantly influences the energy transition and societal impact. The role is based in Hengelo.
You will serve as the link between the technical implementation of our stations and the legal agreements with landowners. Your primary responsibility? Establishing building rights and easements while acquiring land. Project managers and engineers will seek your legal expertise regarding the locations for new stations. Can we acquire new land independently? What agreements must we establish with the landowner? Are there any (restrictive) factors related to pollution, permits, or usage rights? Addressing these inquiries, you will work alongside the project manager to identify the optimal location and engage with the landowner to negotiate terms for land acquisition.
In addition to land acquisition, you will also address legal matters concerning existing assets. This includes maintenance of adjacent land strips, rights obtained through prescription, or the implications of relocating a station for electricity or gas. What does the usage agreement stipulate, and which legal provisions are applicable? You will provide guidance on these issues and involve specialists as necessary. The requests for advice you receive may come from various colleagues or even individuals with concerns. Sometimes your technical insight will be beneficial, while at other times, your empathetic skills in dealing with landowners will be crucial. However, you will always demonstrate your legal expertise.
QualificationsWe are looking for a new team member to join our dynamic and professional group in Hengelo as a Legal Consultant for Land Affairs. If you feel inspired by the job description and see yourself in the following profile:

- A salary range of € to €4,466 gross per month (based on a 40-hour workweek). With additional benefits, your salary can reach up to €5,748 gross per month.
