The role of a Heavy Lift Design Specialist at Lutech Resources involves analyzing and preparing project specifications for offshore transportation and installation operations. This includes yard preparations, load-out and barge transfer and tow operations.
This specialist is also responsible for preparing design calculations and design reports for all structural heavy lift design work within scope and schedule. Additionally, they will interface with various disciplines to define efficient and cost-effective solutions and provide ongoing engineering support.
The ideal candidate will have a BSc degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent) and will be able to stay up-to-date with the development of specialized equipment for installation operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare project specifications for offshore transportation and installation operations
* Conduct design calculations and prepare design reports for heavy lift design work
* Interface with various disciplines to define solutions and provide engineering support
Requirements
* BSc degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent)
* Affinity with the offshore renewables and/or marine environment is preferable
* Fluent English language skills
* Strong analytical and creative skills
