We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll/HR Specialist to join our team in Utrecht, Netherlands. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in processing multi-country payroll and handling various HR functions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and process variable elements and mutations for payroll purposes.
- Review and understand pay slips from multiple countries to ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Generate and verify post-payroll statements to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with external vendors for payroll, benefits, and other HR services.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on the HRIS software (Workday).
- Address employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Implement communication tools/actions on HR/payroll issues.
- Help in setting up or using HR digitalization tools.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably with an international company in the Netherlands.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR best practices, as well as experience with other European countries from a HR and payroll perspective.
- Proficiency in HRIS applications, with Workday experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
- Business fluent in English and good knowledge of Dutch.
- Strong teamwork and team-playing mentality.
- A huge sense of service and a passion for helping others.
This role is only open to candidates already living and working in the Netherlands with full EU rights to work here. The role will be based from the office in Utrecht, and you should be able to travel there easily for 4 days a week with one day from home.
