Network Infrastructure Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders on IT infrastructure projects and global IT improvement initiatives. You'll provide high-level technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives, working closely with the business to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions to improve service delivery.
You'll work closely with our central IT organization, including IT business solutions, IT architecture, and cybersecurity teams. Our informal and social atmosphere makes it easy to build relationships with your colleagues, and we encourage teamwork to achieve the best possible results.
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong team player mentality, and at least 5 years of relevant infrastructure experience. You should have excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. You'll need to work independently on complex projects, monitoring progress and informing stakeholders about upcoming issues.
Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing IT networks, managing core and access switches, routers, VPNs, VLANs, IPSEC, and ZTNA. You'll also be responsible for next-generation firewalls, Azure networking and firewalls, network authentication, Active Directory, and Azure Entra ID. Additionally, you'll need hands-on experience with Dell hardware technologies, VMware, PowerShell, scripting, command-line interfaces, Microsoft Hyper-V, storage space direct platform, and virtual machine manager.
In return, we offer a permanent contract, a good market-based salary (€3,287 - €6,054 per month), an end-of-year bonus equal to one month's salary, 25 vacation days, and extra days from age 35. You'll also receive a NS Business Card, lease option, or commuting allowance, as well as a mobility allowance of 3% based on your gross salary.
