We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated scientist to join our Oncology Antigen Discovery and Computational Research team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for analyzing proteomics, genomics, and transcriptomics data to identify and select personalized and shared antigens for cancer vaccine development.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and optimization of our antigen discovery pipeline to identify and prioritize tumor antigens for oncology programs.
- Collaborate with our Antigen Discovery and Validation team to integrate newly acquired in-house and public data into our discovery pipeline.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development of personalized and off-the-shelf cancer vaccines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computational cancer genomics and apply this knowledge to improve our discovery pipeline and research outcomes.
Your Qualifications:
- PhD in a computational field, such as computational immunology, systems biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of building bioinformatics software and data analysis pipelines/workflows with experience in Linux computing environments.
- Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
- Experience with machine learning and cloud computing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in English.
