Renewable Energy Resource Manager

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Resource Manager to join our team at Undutchables. As a key member of our Asset Management Team, you will be responsible for the remote monitoring, functioning, and analysis of renewable energy resources in the Netherlands.
Your primary duties will include:
- Remotely monitoring wind turbines and other plant equipment;
- Serving as the first point of contact for external parties such as contractors on site;
- Assuming responsibility in case of emergency;
- Maintaining daily status monitoring of assets;
- Analyzing performance and reporting;
- Investigating unforeseen standstill and initial fault diagnosis;
- Managing balance of plant controls and power/curtailment/ice detection/shadow detection systems;
- Communicating and coordinating with planners, site technicians, power market parties, and others;
- Analyzing data, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues remotely;
- Monitoring weather conditions at sites for site technician safety;
- Working independently and collaboratively on projects and initiatives that enhance operations and reliability;
- Participating in quarterly visual inspections on site after completing necessary training;
- Providing periodic performance analysis and reporting;
- Assisting Asset Managers with day-to-day duties.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor's Degree (HTS) or Associate Degree (MBO/MTS) plus relevant working experience;
- Or relevant working experience in a similar job;
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
- A team player mindset with ability to work under pressure;
- Minimum B1 Dutch language skills and willingness to improve comfortability using the language for both internal and external communication;
- Sufficient English language skills;
- Interest in the sustainability industry/renewables;
- Experience with SCADA software is a plus;
- Valid driver's license (B).
Location: The position requires living in the neighborhood of Groningen. Candidates who live abroad will not be considered unless there is a concrete plan to move to the Netherlands.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is €50,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on experience.
