We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at AMOLF, a leading research institute in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a novel micro reactor for sustainable flow chemistry, focusing on operando characterization of plasmonic metal nanoparticles.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate the effect of plasmonic metal nanoparticles on photocatalysis in optical fiber reactors
- Develop and implement operando techniques to monitor chemical reactions in space and time, including scanning probe and spectroscopic methods
- Collaborate with international consortium partners to achieve project goals
- Contribute to the design and fabrication of a novel micro reactor
- PhD in physics, chemistry, or a related field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Prior experience in photo-chemistry, operando spectroscopy, and/or plasmonics is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
