We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Improvement Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation to join our team at Tronox. As an Asset Improvement Engineer, you will play a key role in driving our company's future plans and strategies.
Job Summary:The Asset Improvement Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation will be responsible for advising on technical matters, executing strategic plans, participating in and contributing to safety studies, research, and project teams, focusing on Electrical & Instrumentation to achieve the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, develop, and effectively manage budgets for small and medium-sized projects/programs in close collaboration with project managers in the E&I field.
- Lead the E&I construction service for installation activities within projects.
- Follow change management processes and support the drafting department.
- Advise (requested and unrequested) on applicable instrumentation techniques in the production process.
- Maintain the entire instrumentation section up-to-date in the technical archive.
- Design safety systems and perform SIL verifications.
- Take influence and responsibility for the content of the legal compliance and inspection process, develop and define methods and inspection processes.
- Assist Maintenance in developing new E&I employees and serve as a reference for complex faults.
- Support the E&I Maintenance department in implementing new instrumentation in the factory.
- Support the Maintenance Reliability Engineer E&I in developing the local asset management plan E&I.
- Stay up-to-date with new measurement methods on the market and translate them into opportunities within the current installation.
- Be responsible as the Installation Responsible for the site.
- Relevant HBO diploma in a technical field; preferably Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation.
- WO work and thinking level.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience in the (petro)chemical industry.
- Knowledge of methods for analyzing failure mechanisms, such as RCA.
- Experience in inspection and maintenance in ATEX environments.
- Experience with HAZOP/LOPA/SIL/SIL verifications and the necessary software programs.
- Knowledge of NEN3140/3840.
- Knowledge of the Honeywell safety system Safety Manager is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, in word and writing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
