Scientific Expert in Analytical Development

About the Job
We are looking for a skilled Scientific Expert in Analytical Development to join our team at Lonza. As a key member of our Analytical Development team, you will be responsible for developing and validating analytical methods for the use in the field of oligonucleotide and encapsulation analyses.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning, execution, and careful documentation of sample measurements.
- Maintenance of laboratory and equipment.
- Collaboration with lead-scientists to co-responsible for analytical method development.
Requirements
- Finished degree in a biological or chemical discipline, with specialization in analytical chemist. MSc or PhD.
- At least two years of experience in a routine analysis laboratory, with method validation performed.
- Highly experienced in method validation and knows which method attributes are required for HPLC-MS methods.
- Highly experienced with LC-UV/MS using Orbitrap equipment with intensive use of Chromeleon and Biopharmafinder.
- Experience with different types of analytical assays is preferred (ELISA, cGE, cIEF...).
- The candidate has experience with statistical analysis of data from the assays they perform.
- Pro-active and as an analytical researcher does not stop until an assay is perfect.
- Fluency in English, both speaking and writing, is required.
