About the Role

The Sales Training Specialist will play a critical role in the success of our sales team. As a key member of our Commercial Enablement team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure our sales team has the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Create and deliver training content to ensure our sales team has the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Onboarding and Training: Assist in the onboarding process for new sales team members, including creating training schedules and coordinating session presenters.
  • Training Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of sales training to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Training Materials: Create role-specific training materials for new hires and tenured sales staff, including developing and maintaining training content drives, LMS, and sales help pages.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers and commercial enablement teams to develop and implement curriculums for specific audiences and define measures of success.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with the sales training team and new hires to review and adjust training programs as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of Sales Training Experience: Proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Clear and concise writing, engaging presentation style, and group facilitation skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Advanced Presentation Skills: Confidence in ability to train employees effectively.
  • Strong Verbal Communication and Writing Skills: English language proficiency.
  • Experience Working with All Levels: Ability to work with management, staff, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Leadership and Teamwork Skills: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead teams.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn new software and programs.
  • Experience Working within a CRM: Familiarity with customer relationship management systems.
  • Ability to Network and Build Support: Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Dynamic Working-Style: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and projects.
  • Resilient and Adaptable Personality: Willingness to learn from failures and adjust course as needed.

  • Familiarity with Tourism Industry: Experience working in the tourism and hospitality industries.
  • Background in Adult Education: Experience teaching or training adults.
  • Experience with SaaS: Familiarity with software as a service platforms.
