About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Platform Engineer to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our Public Cloud Grid, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating Azure platform products, solutions, and capabilities that enable our internal Azure consumers to consume cloud services in a compliant and secure way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Azure platform products, solutions, and capabilities that meet the needs of our internal Azure consumers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Azure services.
  • Develop and maintain ARM templates, JSON, and PowerShell scripts to automate Azure deployments.
  • Work closely with the development community and other cloud teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Translate business requirements into solutions, services, and products that meet the needs of our internal Azure consumers.
Requirements
  • Microsoft Azure certified Solution Architect.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure service portfolio and latest developments.
  • Proven experience with using and developing Azure Services in a senior role.
  • Strong security awareness: CCSP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are recommended.
  • Good experience with design and deployment of ARM templates, JSON, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge and experience with YAML pipelines.
  • Experience with Programming languages like C# and Python is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
  • Good to have knowledge of Object-Oriented design and Development.
