Group Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled Group Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with international standards. This role is pivotal in guiding our finance team and providing expert advice on various financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key advisor in establishing policies and implementing best practices for efficient and compliant finance and accounting operations.
- Support the financial reporting process for our stakeholders.
- Lead the audit process, maintaining strong relationships with external auditors and ensuring adherence to local GAAP and tax regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of multi-GAAP statutory financial statements in collaboration with local accounting professionals.
- Direct the tax strategy and manage compliance with local tax regulations, including corporate income tax and VAT.
- Act as the primary contact for general ledger accountants on complex accounting and tax issues.
- Engage actively in various finance and accounting projects as needed.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance or a related field, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit or controlling, ideally within an international accounting environment.
- In-depth knowledge of US-GAAP and tax regulations, including Transfer Pricing.
- Strong analytical skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with Oracle systems is a plus.
- Full professional proficiency in English is required.
