About the PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled expert in generative AI and human-centered systems to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, teaching relevant courses, and supervising students.
Job Description:
- Conduct independent research in AI and human-centered systems, focusing on software engineering, prompt engineering, computational creativity, and content generation.
- Teach relevant courses at BSc and MSc levels, including those related to AI, computer science, and data science.
- Supervise BSc and MSc students, guiding them in their research projects and academic growth.
- (Co-)supervise PhD students, providing mentorship and guidance in their research endeavors.
- Secure external funding for research initiatives, collaborating with industry partners and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence or Computer Science from a reputable institution.
- Proven independence and excellence in research, demonstrated through publications and grants.
- Strong publication record and experience in securing research funding, showcasing expertise in AI and human-centered systems.
- Proven teaching experience, with a track record of effective student engagement and academic achievement.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and in a supervisory role with students.
- Academic, creative, and open mindset, with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is approximately €5,500-€7,000 per month, commensurate with experience, plus benefits, including holiday pay and end-of-year bonuses.
