Job Overview

Avery Dennison is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to lead our EMEA Procurement team's chemical spend portfolio. This role will involve co-developing and executing strategic direction for all categories within the chemical portfolio.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with Central Procurement teams to ensure optimal value for the business in the region.
  • Partner with regional Product Leadership Teams to translate needs into multi-year roadmaps delivering innovation, differentiation, and competitive advantage.
  • Continuously scan and scout the market and existing supply base to facilitate supplier-driven innovation, bringing external intelligence to our front-end organization.
  • Work with R&D to uncover and execute cost-out opportunities while maintaining a healthy pipeline of new materials and supplier capabilities.
  • Partner with Supply Chain & Operations to guarantee raw materials availability and quality, exploring opportunities to increase service value through reducing MOQs, lead times, and business continuity risks.
  • Lead the procurement team for Chemicals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Polymer Science / Chemistry focus is a plus).
  • Prior experience (4 years+) in direct Procurement of Chemicals in an international environment (preferably MNO).
  • Financial and numerical skills.
  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and networking talent.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
