About the Role

Team ITG is in search of a talented and seasoned PHP Engineer to contribute to the evolution of one of Europe’s leading marketing automation solutions. Our innovative software, Deployteq, has seen remarkable advancements, including over 52 new features launched in the past year, alongside the integration of cutting-edge marketing channels such as WhatsApp and Push Notifications. We are laying the foundation for a next-generation Customer Data Platform, and your expertise could play a pivotal role in this journey.

Key Responsibilities

As a PHP Software Engineer, you will be a vital member of our skilled development team, entrusted with:

  • Extensive experience in PHP programming.
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Creation of new software components.
  • Driving innovation through microservices architecture (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Contributing to the successful dispatch of billions of emails annually.
  • Crafting customized solutions for clients by developing and integrating specific functionalities.
  • Conducting thorough testing and optimization of your work, ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented code while continuously enhancing code quality and performance.
  • Maintaining a focus on code quality to minimize technical debt.

  • A minimum HBO work and thinking level.
  • Over 5 years of experience as a PHP Developer, primarily focused on backend development.
  • Proven expertise with PHP7, MySQL, JavaScript (ExtJS), and OOP.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with the team to design and implement new features.
  • Experience with Linux is a plus.
  • A commitment to staying updated with emerging trends and technologies.
