Position Overview:

This role requires fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken.

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to enhance the experiences of our clients and colleagues while engaging in intricate and stimulating projects. Your work will involve utilizing technologies such as React and Vue, placing you in an environment that values technical proficiency: offering freedom, autonomy, and responsibility, alongside a healthy work-life balance, substantial training budgets, and ample opportunities to innovate and address unique challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of one of our five development teams, which includes a team lead, backend developers, frontend developers, a UX designer, and a solution support engineer. Collaborating with your team, you will consistently seek optimal solutions for our prominent clients while being open to experimenting with new technologies.

As a frontend developer, you will contribute to strategic solutions, understanding the significance of assembling a diverse stack of tools and software that aligns with client ambitions. Your focus will be on crafting an exceptional user experience and interaction. You will proactively identify tasks, encourage your colleagues, and pursue the best possible outcomes.

A key challenge will involve collaborating with experienced team members to devise a strategy for transitioning from a monolithic architecture to a composable digital platform for select clients. You will play a pivotal role in the implementation phase, taking charge of frontend development.

Additionally, you will inspire and motivate your peers, taking the initiative to foster knowledge sharing within Iquality through activities such as hackathons and deep dive sessions. We are committed to providing you with the opportunity to excel and uplift those around you.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a minimum of four years of professional experience with skills including:
    • Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Git/Gitflow
    • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Frameworks such as ReactJS (Native) and/or VueJS
  • Demonstrate professional and intellectual capabilities at HBO/WO level.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, effectively conveying your ideas and convincing others of your solutions, whether working independently or within a scrum team.
  • Maintain a customer-oriented mindset and a pragmatic approach.
