About Damen Dredging Equipment

We are a leading manufacturer of dredging equipment, and we are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team. Our company is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

The Role

As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling service requests for our dredging equipment. This will involve assessing client needs, developing service-related offers, and coordinating with our Field Service Engineers to ensure smooth project execution. You will also work closely with our Sales and Service organization to develop and implement service strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate service activities, including assembly, commissioning, training, and technical support;
  • Manage and support implemented service activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery;
  • Assess and process client warranties in consultation with our support departments;
  • Develop and issue service-related offers in collaboration with our sales and support teams;
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Higher professional education degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or maritime studies;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a focus on quality and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages;
  • Availability to work at our locations in Nijkerk and Gorinchem.
