Electrical Systems Architect for Autonomous Electric Vehicles

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Architect to join our team at VDL Enabling Transport Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical systems, automotive networks, electronics, communications, and software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-level product breakdowns, architectures, and communications integration for autonomous electric vehicles.
  • Make decompositions of automotive vehicles and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Understand, create, and manage complex electrical and autonomous vehicle architectures and systems.
  • Collaborate with other discipline architects to ensure integration and alignment.
  • Ensure successful project realization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in software, electronics, or automotive engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a System/Comms/Network/SW Architect in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of autonomous driving and ADAS systems.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical systems complexity and ability to manage it effectively.
