About the Role
Newrest is seeking a highly skilled Country IT Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining our system and network infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our IT assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the general system and network infrastructure, including workstations and servers under Windows and Hyper-V.
- Manage incidents in the Windows/MacOs IT assets, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
- Train users on the use and best practices of IT tools, promoting a culture of IT literacy within the organization.
- Assist in the use of financial software, such as Cegid XRP (Former Qualiac), to support business operations.
- Manage the use of the Office 365 suite, including office tools and collaborative tools, to enhance productivity and communication.
- Maintain computer security protocols for workstations and the network, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage infrastructure related to IT assets, including equipment and software selection, procurement, and deployment.
- Negotiate with local suppliers to ensure the best possible deals for the company.
- Ensure the consistency and evolution of local information systems, aligning with business objectives.
- Anticipate workload and costs of solutions studied, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Holding a BAC+2/+3 in computer science-oriented infrastructures, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administration of PC/Mac operating systems and servers under Windows.
- Strong knowledge of networks, including protocols, routing, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security measures.
- Experience in computer security, including firewall, access control, and threat management.
- Knowledge of storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, replication, and virtualization.
- Experience with HYPER-V virtualization and ActiveDirectory/LDAP directory services.
- Plus: knowledge of Cloud virtualization (Azure and AWS) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CEGID XRP Ultimate financial software (Former Qualiac) and SQL Server, as well as PowerShell query development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
- Strong sense of service, team spirit, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make proposals and work collaboratively.
