Pediatric Dentist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our team at the Special Dental Care Center of the UMCG. As a paediatric dentist, you will be responsible for providing specialized dental care to children with special dental needs, referred to our center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental care to children with special needs, both in the dental chair and under general anesthesia.
• Collaborate closely with dental colleagues in a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
• Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers to provide clear and understandable information on oral health and preventive measures.

Requirements

• Completed dental school and specialization in Pedodontics.
• Extensive experience in treating children with special care needs.
• Strong communication skills and empathy.
• Registration in the BIG register and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
