About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Development Manager to join our team at Applied Micro Electronics (AME) BV. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business value by setting and achieving financial targets for our business units.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance and be able to interpret and analyze complex financial data to inform business decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with various department managers and cost center owners to identify financial risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the review of financial performance across various parts of the company, focusing on reducing break-even points
  • Financially monitor assigned business units, tracking corrective actions and executing variance analysis, balance sheet management, and working capital optimization
  • Conduct cost price calculations and analysis, inventory reporting, and margin analysis
  • Maintain and enforce management reporting in BI tools and participate in various improvement projects across the company
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in a financial or business economics direction
  • 5 years' experience as a Business Controller or similar role
  • Proven experience in financial control, cost accounting, and business analysis
  • Excellent command of English language, with Dutch being a plus
