What will be your role?

As a member of our Acoustics & Underwater Warfare division, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's pushing the boundaries of acoustic research. Your responsibilities will include working on projects related to acoustic signatures, noise control, sensor & sonar systems, and seabed security. You'll have the chance to work on a wide range of topics, from modeling and simulation to designing and executing experiments in our lab.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on acoustic phenomena and their applications in underwater communication
  • Develop and implement new methods for modeling and simulating acoustic behavior
  • Design and execute experiments to test and validate new acoustic technologies
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to integrate acoustic research into real-world applications

What we expect from you

We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong background in (Geo/Astro)Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering, (Applied) AI, Operations Research, or a similar technical field. You should have experience programming in Matlab or Python and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
