Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Data Management Professional to join our team at ING.

About the Role

This role will involve propagating ING's data strategy across the organization, focusing on specific functional domains in the Business Support Functions area. Your responsibilities will include expanding and improving the data management strategy, ensuring compliance with data-related policies and standards, and driving improvements of controls around data management, data protection, and data retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision making and improve business outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain effective data governance processes and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate data-related risks and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, information technology, mathematics).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary tailored to your qualities and experience, ranging from €65,000 to €90,000 per annum, depending on your background and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive 24-27 vacation days, a pension scheme, and other benefits, including a 13th month salary, individual savings contribution, and holiday payment. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment with a strong focus on professional development and growth.
