The goal of Clearing Operations is to make client's business easy, reliable, and secure by processing approximately 15 million transactions on average per day.

Your Role in Processing Corporate Actions

This internship will be in the Processing Corporate Actions team of the Operations department of ABN AMRO Clearing. The team processes transactions and payments, related to Corporate Actions like dividends and mergers for our clients.

As an intern in Operations, you will mainly have an internal focus and be responsible to run and perhaps even improve the day-to-day business and its processes.

Your Profile

  • Enrolled for a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably Economics or Finance, throughout the entire internship.
  • A problem solver, with an eye for detail and a hands-on mentality.
  • Excel and/or Excel VBA skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, and not afraid to ask for help.
  • You have affinity and/or knowledge for financial markets and products.
  • Able to adapt to different circumstances and new information.

Your Working Environment

AACB is looking for a variety of employees, resulting in a great diversity among our employees in terms of education, nationality, and background.

Becuase we work in an international environment and have many international colleagues, the official language is English.

What We Offer

  • An internship with a duration of at least 6 months, but preferably 9 months.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • You will participate in the daily operational tasks, as part of a larger team.
  • You will work on an additional assignment besides your daily tasks.

Average Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 per year
