Professional Trainer and Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Trainer and Project Coordinator to join our team at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences at HKU.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in clinical, education or counselling psychology and at least 5 years of experience in training delivery, social media management, content creation, professional consulting, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions and workshops across various disciplines within the Centre.
  • Oversee all social media platforms, ensuring timely responses to posts and inquiries.
  • Write engaging content for the Centre, encompassing a wide range of publications, both print and digital.
  • Provide expert advice to enhance the Centre's operations and the execution of diverse projects.
  • Take on a variety of ad hoc responsibilities as directed by the Centre's Director or their designate.
  • Be prepared to work outside of standard office hours, including weekends, to meet the Centre's objectives.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in clinical, education or counselling psychology.
  • At least 5 years of clinical, academic or professional experience.
  • Strong leadership, self-motivation, and responsibility.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
  • Good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Familiarity with the local education system, with experience working with schools and managing educational research projects an advantage.

What We Offer:

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, ranging from HKD$60,000 to HKD$100,000 per annum, plus benefits such as annual leave, medical benefits, and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
