Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Buyer to strengthen our project team at Oceanco. As a Senior Project Buyer, you will be responsible for the entire supply chain process, from ordering to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the entire supply chain process, from ordering to delivery.
  • You will oversee the progress of suppliers and ensure that orders are fulfilled on time and accurately.
  • You will resolve operational and contractual issues with suppliers, in close collaboration with the project team.
  • You will identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in the assigned packages.
  • You will be responsible for contract management of suppliers (quotation agreements and escalations) and support management and colleagues to achieve the best deal within the package.
  • You will build and maintain a working relationship with involved third parties (co-makers and subcontractors).
  • You will work in aligned co-makership with our partners and identify and realize opportunities for synergy based on your expertise and mutual respect.
Requirements
  • University or higher education with relevant work experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in the Netherlands, particularly in the maritime industry and/or yacht building industry.
  • You recognize yourself in the following competencies: Analytical skill, Collaboration, Precision, Persuasiveness.
  • You have a comprehensive overview of the entire process and are proactive and problem-solving in your approach.
  • You are a proud and passionate professional who enjoys learning.
  • You have knowledge of MS Office applications and Navision.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken Dutch and English.
