SAP S/4HANA Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Architect to join our team at Next-Link in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on a 12+ month contract. As an SAP S/4HANA Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP S/4HANA solutions on the SAP Public Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions on the SAP Public Cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and training materials.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP S/4HANA implementations on the SAP Public Cloud platform.
  5. Participate in testing, quality assurance, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  7. Stay up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA platform updates, new features, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve existing solutions and processes.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
Requirements:
  1. 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  2. Strong understanding of SAP's public cloud offerings, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Leonardo.
  3. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA implementation, including configuration and customization, data migration and integration, and testing and quality assurance.
  4. Experience with SAP S/4HANA modules, including Financial Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Human Capital Management.
  5. Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and infrastructure, including cloud security and compliance, cloud scalability and performance, and cloud integration and APIs.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
  1. Experience with other SAP solutions, such as SAP ERP, SAP CRM, or SAP SCM.
  2. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  3. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  4. Certification in SAP S/4HANA or cloud-based technologies (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud).
