Responsibilities- Define and architect a wireless medical wearable device, evolving from the current wired version.
- Lead the design of a system that integrates optical sensing for improved signal quality, focusing on near-real-time performance and power budgets.
- Define high-level system requirements and identify potential bottlenecks in hardware and software.
- Assess embedded platforms and development tools, ensuring they meet system requirements.
- Work with external design houses and participate in design reviews to ensure the system meets both technical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants.
- Help define the scope of work in medical sensing technology, particularly related to blood pressure measurement via optical sensing.
- Ensure the architecture supports real-time sensing, while balancing power consumption and accuracy.
