Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Architect to join our team at the Deutscher Fußball-Bund e.V. (DFB). As a key member of our product cluster, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement the technical architecture of our systems and applications
  • Provide technical guidance to the development team and ensure compliance with standards and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with product owners to define implementation strategies and provide technical advice
  • Support the creation of overarching architecture concepts and lead the development process
  • Ensure the technical management of the development team and provide expertise on functional and technical operation of individual applications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with subject-specific further training and certification in the field of architecture
  • At least 3 years of in-depth expertise and experience as a senior developer in an agile environment
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering methods, software modernization, and technologies such as Java, Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Oracle DB
  • Experience in the conception and technical implementation of backend systems, web applications, and cloud technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • High level of quality awareness and conscientiousness, independent, structured, and proactive way of working
