We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at The Resource. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- International Tax Planning: Provide expert advice on international corporate income tax and VAT matters, ensuring compliance with local and international legislation.
- Corporate Tax and Compliance: Advise on acquisitions, divestments, mergers-demergers, restructurings, and development activities, aligning with tax strategies of our organization.
- Tax Management and Guidance: Answer day-to-day questions from our business and subsidiaries about tax management, providing guidance on tax planning and ensuring compliance.
- Global Tax Coordination: Coordinate tax issues with advisory companies for our subsidiaries in other countries, ensuring seamless tax operations.
- Tax Audits and Compliance: Support and assist in international tax audits and information requests from tax authorities, providing information requested by tax auditors and project managing the information flow and audit process.
- Tax Legislation and Reporting: Follow and report on changes in tax laws and regulations, examining local and international tax legislation, OECD reports, and related publications.
- Tax Compliance and Reporting: Prepare periodic declarations (corporate and provisional tax, VAT, VAT returns, and follow up the collections, withholding tax, stamp duty) in coordination with external tax consultants, making notifications on time, managing the tax compliance process.
- Transfer Pricing and Documentation: Maintain, organize, and review Transfer Pricing documentation (CbCR, Master file, Local files, and TP documentation), including improvement of the TP processes and controls.
- Internal Dividend Distribution and Tax: Be responsible for tax aspects of internal dividend distribution and timely filing of the withholding tax returns of our organization.

Requirements- Education: Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics.
- Experience: 6-10 years of experience within a reputable Tax consultancy firm or a multinational company.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong self-motivation, ability to promote new ideas, share them with the team, and develop them further together. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch. Turkish language skills are considered a plus.
