Job Description

Nouvall Engineering Services B.V. is a leading provider of project support services for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. Our team of experts provides expertise in engineering, project management, maintenance, shutdowns, construction, and safety.

Key Responsibilities


• Administer packages of the electrical engineering group, ensuring seamless project execution.

• Utilize technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce a range of electrical engineering deliverables, including specifications, calculations, reports, and technical requisitions.

• Develop and maintain electrical engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with project procedures, specifications, and standards.

• Collaborate with the project management team and engineering teams to ensure effective engineering interfaces and project execution.

• Participate in design reviews, engineering changes, and key customer reviews, ensuring alignment with project requirements and customer expectations.

• Contribute to project reviews, value engineering, and value improvement workshops, driving innovation and efficiency.

• Develop and maintain engineering procedures and work practices, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.

• Estimate electrical discipline manhours and schedule requirements, coordinating own work schedule and preparing progress reports.

• Review vendor documentation and conduct site surveys, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.

Requirements


• Degree in a relevant discipline, such as electrical engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in major oil / gas refinery / petrochemical projects, with a strong background in electrical engineering and project management.

• Familiarity with international codes, standards, and recommended practices, with the ability to apply them in EPC phases of oil / gas projects.

• Proven ability to supervise and manage EPC contractors, develop detail design deliverables, and contribute to electrical system studies.

• Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of French and Dutch being a plus.

• Experience in using appropriate codes of practice, standards, and relevant sections of statutory documentation.
