Senior Contract Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Boskalis. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for providing contractual support to project management on international marine infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities- Providing contractual and commercial support during the preparation and execution of projects.
- Developing and implementing a proper project administration, including the administration of variation orders and claims.
- Ensuring the proper and timely submission of contract deliverables.
- Reviewing documents related to specific projects, such as joint venture or consortium agreements, main contracts, and subcontracts.
- Drafting and reviewing of letters, variation orders, and claims addressed to or received from partners, clients, and subcontractors.
- Contributing to contract and subcontract negotiations during the execution phase of a project.
- Liaising with the insurance, procurement, and treasury department and the legal counsel involved.
- Increasing contractual awareness within the project team and supporting the development of expertise within the legal and contract management department.
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Quantity Surveying or Law.
- At least five years of working experience as a contract manager.
- Knowledge of international construction contracts, such as FIDIC/LOGIC contracts, is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and a team player attitude.
