Job Description

Vitol is a leading energy company with a presence across the spectrum, from oil to power, renewables, and carbon. We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Transformation Manager to join our team in Rotterdam.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve existing Indirect Tax processes and tools used by the Indirect Tax team
  • Work in collaboration with regional Indirect Tax team members and functional stakeholders to ensure Vitol's Indirect Tax structure is well prepared to support our continued growth and global expansion
  • Project Management is an important aspect of this position, including the automation and standardization of current processes, the implementation of Indirect Tax processes globally, the creation of reports, making data analyses, performing risk assessments, and presentations
Requirements
  • A master's degree in tax, or similar qualification or experience in Tax, Finance, and Accounting, or data mining related educations
  • 5+ years of experience in Indirect Tax as an external consultant or in an in-house role
  • Experience in project management
  • User experience of desktop data analytics and automation tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, Tableau, etc.
  • In-house experience in the energy commodities industry is a plus
