Supply Chain Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our supply chain department, you will be responsible for leading the coordination of supply chain demand and planning for Line and Base maintenance, ensuring effective, efficient, and timely operational supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Lead coordination between different teams, supply chain demand, and planning for Line and Base maintenance.
- Resource Management: Ensure Supply Chain staff are informed, trained, and motivated about their roles and responsibilities, and make recommendations to the Regional Supply Chain Manager regarding staff development.
- Coordination and Monitoring: Provide briefings, guidance, and support to staff to deliver effectively the assigned daily work plan, and develop work plans with staff to increase compliance and understanding of Aviation procedures.
- Quality and Compliance: Supervise and ensure Supply Chain processes are compliant with all required in- and external procedures and guidelines.
- Warehouse Management: Manage the line warehouse(s) to support the TUI line station, and monitor task progress to deliver in agreed timescales and budgets.
- Reporting and Compliance: Report on a weekly and monthly basis regarding warehouse stock report, fleet utilization report, and asset lists, and conduct spot checks of warehouse, fleet, and asset management to ensure implementation and documentation is up to date.
- Accountability: Be accountable for monitoring team compliance with departmental procedures, Health and Safety, Airport Regulations, and Bylaws, and manage external audits such as customer, pool stock, financial, authority, H&S, environmental, and customs audits.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with the Regional Supply Chain Manager to ensure that all issues are reported and solutions are realized as the issues arise, and report all anomalies to the Regional Supply Chain Manager immediately.
- Financial Management: Ensure proper accounting, reporting, internal controls, and maintenance/filing of records, and manage financial write-off following stock controls.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor education level or relevant experience, and relevant work experience in a supply chain environment. You should have people management experience at a mid to senior level, operational management expertise, and in-depth knowledge of procurement rules and regulations applicable within the organization and supply chain department.
You should be proactive, result-oriented, and energetic with a structured approach to complex tasks, and have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. You should also be a dedicated team player who is capable of working independently, and have strong business English skills, both spoken and written.
