About the Role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee the distribution of electrical systems across plant sites, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and contributing to continuous improvements of electrical safety and performance. This includes design of electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, motors, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee the implementation of electrical systems, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors to gather technical requirements and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Prepare RFQs and necessary documents for electrical and automation-related work.
  • Present design concepts and technical details to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized electrical work.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Work closely with mechanical, civil, and process engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
  • Review and approve electrical designs and installations performed by third parties.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles, power systems, and circuit analysis.
  • Experience with power distributions, lighting systems, control systems, and electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of process automation and control systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. IEC, NEC).
  • Familiarity with process control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA).
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
