Groups & Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Groups & Events Executive to join our enthusiastic Booking Office team in The Hague. As a Groups & Events Executive, you will work closely with the team to organize and plan events, including conferences, meetings, and dinners, as well as other events such as cocktail parties, theme parties, and group bookings.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet sales and team goals, maximize revenue, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maximize revenue and customer satisfaction by responding promptly to requests, converting requests, and delivering successful events.
- Commercial insight and strategic execution of group and event pricing and planning.
- Clear communication with customers and internal departments regarding agreements and event execution.
- Manage events from A to Z.
- Ensure correct contractual handling, guarantee deposits, and accurate invoicing.
- Coordinate menu arrangements for customers to maximize hotel revenue while meeting customer needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, meeting planners, conference organizers, associations, and other producers relevant to each business unit.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also support the execution of daily administrative tasks and receive special projects from the Booking Office Manager. You will have the space and responsibility to explore all aspects of the Booking Office department and make a great start to your career
What Makes You the Perfect Addition to Our Team?- You have good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages in writing and speaking.
- You are self-motivated and enjoy challenges.
- You have excellent sales skills and can come up with creative ideas for events.
- You can find the right balance between customer satisfaction and hotel revenue.
- You have a HBO work and thinking level and at least 1 year of experience in a similar function.
- Experience with Opera Sales & Catering is a plus
