The Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at ZET Company. As a key member of our process control team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software and hardware related control solutions across our entire production site in Budel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Realizing automation projects independently or together with your colleagues in a PLC, DCS, IoT environment;
  • Monitoring the application of company standards for larger projects;
  • Constantly improving and optimizing processes and installations;
  • Solving complex failures, including support for the technical department;
  • Playing a major role in the digitalization aspect of the company.

Requirements

  • A relevant Bachelor educational level;
  • Experience with Siemens Step7 (SCL), TIA and WinCC Flexible, DCS systems and SCADA applications;
  • Knowledge of risk reduction techniques, performance level and SIL classifications;
  • Knowledge of C/C++ is desirable;
  • Knowledge of OPC, SQL is an advantage;
  • Fluent in Dutch and conversational English;
  • A team player, assertive and independent;
  • Analytical and problem-solving thinking skills;
  • Proactive and able to set the right priorities;
  • Stress resistant and able to meet deadlines;
  • The ambition to learn new techniques and skills;
  • Participation in the on-call automation schedule.
