The Role

We are looking for a skilled ERP system architect to lead the Damen ERP Platform template. The ERP platform is part of the Damen Enterprise Platform, consisting of SAP S/4HANA, integrated with other applications for specific capabilities. As an ERP System Architect, you will ensure that our ERP platform is robust, efficient, agile, and responsive to the fast-paced changes in the business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect an ERP platform with a core focus on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business processes.
• Apply SAFe principles to manage large-scale ERP implementations and foster an Agile culture within the IT department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to the ERP platform, focusing on the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead configuration template and optimization of the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Ensure the ERP system adheres to industry standards for system integrity, security, and data privacy.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including architecture diagrams and process flows.
• Provide mentorship and training on SAP S/4HANA and SAFe methodologies to the development team.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular system audits, and implement necessary improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certification in SAP S/4HANA and a thorough understanding of its capabilities, functionalities, and business applications.
• Strong knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience in leading Agile transformations.
• Proven track record as a System Architect, with significant experience in ERP system design and implementation.
• Proficiency in database management, SQL, and data analytics, with a focus on SAP HANA databases.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders from end users to executives.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
