Role description:
The Data Platform & Product Analytics Director is responsible for leading the development and management of Digital Intelligence data platform and product analytics capabilities. This is a technical role that involves defining and executing a data strategy that powers a suite of both client and internal facing data-enabled applications and solutions and enables Digital Intelligence to leverage data to support business decision-making. The director will lead a team of data professionals, manage resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven innovations in our client-facing products..

Role accountabilities:
- Create state of the art data platform. Responsible for a unified data platform strategy and managing its executions across both product and solutions departments within Digital Intelligence.
- Operational management. Oversee and manage ingestion pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data flow. Administer and optimize data platforms to support robust data operations. Ensure the data platform capabilities align with our overall client-facing product and solutions strategy.
- Leadership and Team Management. Leading and managing the data analytics and data engineering teams. Provide guidance and support for team development, including recruitment, performance management, and career growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Working closely with our colleagues in Tech to ensure strategic alignment on technology choices, long-term data strategy and resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ experience in a leadership role within data analytics and platform development, with a strong track record of managing successful projects, preferably in large enterprises
- Deep understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, data engineering, and analytics tools and technologies.
- Experience with creating and managing data platforms that are used to power client-facing applications.
- Proficiency in platforms such as Fabric, Databricks, Fivetran, Snowflake, and BigQuery. Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Flink and Kinesis is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business strategies into actionable data concepts.
