Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Sr. Manager, Product Management Solution with deep understanding of networking products to define and drive solutions for in-house hardware. The ideal candidate would be able to understand the need and want of the customers and provide well-thought-out solutions to meet the customer's specifications and deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities include understanding the market trend for solution needs, serving as an escalation point for the global service team, managing roadmaps, and working with internal teams and customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): Possess a big picture mindset in collaboration with the ability to always think beyond a single project or business domain. Create product roadmaps and develop strategies for successful product deployment based on a deep understanding of customer requirements. Manage technical resources within the organization to address client needs when necessary. Define and provide creative solutions and overcome constraints to meet customer requirements in the demanding market. Understand and resolve challenges by collaborating with internal business partners and technical members. Oversee deliverables and documentation as required to support Supermicro service organization. Create positioning statements, marketing, sales training materials, and product specifications. Present training material to internal sales force as well as externally at customer sites. Willingness to travel periodically to visit customers and attend trade shows. Conduct competitive analysis and develop ecosystems with partners in the industry. Drive technical issues to closure by arranging resources and engaging with other engineering teams to duplicate and debug. Provide technical leadership and guidance to Global Service team. Emphasize service while providing technical guidance and driving the deliverable of high-quality solutions. Design, build, preconfigure, and integrate solutions that are certified to be packaged into Supermicro Infrastructure Packages Solution with an emphasis on service. Travel to meet customers for business needs. Qualifications: Preferably a Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering or business discipline is desirable. 10 years of experience with storage server, data center, or IT infrastructure with 5 years of experience in a management role is preferred. Excellent communication skills and business sense are required; must have prior experience in interfacing with customers. Strong background and experience with x86-based server architecture. Familiarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows, and virtualization platforms is a plus. Strong technical communication and leadership skills to lead investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines.
