You’ve got a product idea. Maybe even a prototype. But you're stuck on the next steps, or would like to go faster How do I validate the problem? How do I find a co-founder? How do I land a first customer? How do I get funding—without giving away half the company? That’s where we come in. At our Achmea Impact Ventures, we act as a venture builder and back technical founders who bring strong ideas but need the right structure, support, and team to build a real startup around it. You bring the product vision. We’ll help you turn it into a company. What we do Achmea Impact Ventures is a corporate startup studio —we create startups from scratch. We become your co-founder. That means: You bring a clear product idea that fits within one of our focus areas We support you with a salary, funding (up to €500K), and a dedicated team Together, we validate the problem, build the MVP, and take it to market If successful, we spin out the company with you in the lead, and with significant equity for you. What you’ll do As the CTO-founder , you’ll: Validate your idea and user needs with support from our research team Shape the product roadmap and MVP strategy Build the MVP—hands-on or together with our in-house developers Test and iterate with early users Hire and lead your tech team as the venture grows Work alongside a commercial co-founder (if matched during the process) What we offer Funding : Up to €500K, provided in stages based on traction Salary : You’ll be paid from day one to focus full-time on the venture Dedicated build team : Product designers, data engineers, software engineers, marketers, and researchers Network access : Achmea can open doors, be your first customer, or connect you with partners Structured process : Clear milestones, commercial sparring, and founder coaching Founder equity : up to 70% Examples of ventures built with us FemmeUp : Women’s health platform tackling absenteeism.
